Loud speech doesn't make one "badder," nor does vulgar language. In fact they both contribute to one appearing ignorant. "Flowery" speech doens't make one smarter, especially if the topic in discussion becomes lost. In fact it's the balance and knowing when to use the various tools of speech that are important. Knowing when to raise one's voice, to expand and influence one's vocabulary, and refraining from the use of inappropriate language or speech, is the key in proper and non offensive communication.
