With the nazi issue addressed, I must admit, there is respect for the German military.  They brought about many changes that have affected modern military tactics; not only through their tactics, but the adaptations the allies had to make to improve as well.  Feel free to provide any comments you may have or wish to share.

Just No

I witnessed a couple of jokes yesterday that were "out of taste;" politely speaking. One regarded a german soldier in a concentration joke, the ther was the construction of a pt boat with the nazi flag. These represent gross ignorance, a lack of historical knowledge or sensitivity. The actions of the nazi party party fall nothing short of atrocious, and should never be taken lightly.
