Changes

It's high time I made another post.  For years I've always said "I hate people."  A simple statement made to express a complex thought, however it is untrue as I have come to realize.  I don't hate people, I never really did, it's the ignorance I never cared for, among many things.  "I hate people," and yet I do my best to respect the individuals I've had the pleasure of meeting, sometimes I might even engage in small talk, turns me into a walking contradiction.  I even try to help those around me while having a dislike for people, but looking further into this contradiction I've come to an understanding, I actually pity those who live in ignorance.  Whether by their doing or someone else's, they can not see the world around them, the voices and machinations of the world are muffled and vague.  It's hard to show reason to someone who can't see it, just as it is to present a picture to a blind man, or music to a deaf woman.  In this day and age, it seems ignorance is louder than reason, but I digress.  I bring up this small insight because this topic has been on my mind and brought up in conversation over the last couple of weeks.  With this post I present a simplified version of my erroneous outlook.
